1944 - Nov 18: Dade Circuit judges cite Herald for contempt for publishing two editorials and a cartoon criticizing the court.

1945 - July 24: Florida Supreme Court upholds contempt conviction.

1946 - June 3: U.S. Supreme Court overturns
