The 8th Dublin Anarchist Bookfair will take place in Dublin the weekend of 6th April 2013
at Liberty Hall, Eden Quay. We have a full schedule of meetings planned and a varied range
of book stalls from a host of anarchist and radical publishers and organisations. -- Doors
open at 10am and the first meetings start at 11:30 so forgo the weekend lie-in, grab a
coffee and come on down! --- (1913-2013 ? Rebuilding a Movement from below) -- The 6th
April this year see?s the return of the Dublin Anarchist Bookfair to Liberty Hall Dublin.
---- The planning is well underway for a host of meetings where we will have guest
speakers on history of Barcelona May Days, Feminism and sex work, and accounts of the many
battles against austerity which are taking place throughout the PIGS of Europe.
We are also planning talks on anti-deportation, pro-choice activities, and the household tax.
Another major meeting will see us mark the anniversary of the 1913 lock-out, looking at it
from an historical perspective and seeing how we can rebuild a similar mass social
movement from below which can take us in the direction we want to go.
So keep the date free: Saturday the 6th April 2013
There will be a gig that night in The Pint pub, Eden Quay that evening.
Sunday the 7th April we will be having a walking tour starting at 14.00hrs focussing on
the Irish Banking industry, the catalysers of our economic collapse.
