The current crisis is far from over. It is not only an economic crisis but a political
crisis. Capitalism disintegrates companies and precipitates the planet in an ecological
disaster. States organize this predator system. ---- For us, the self is an alternative
tool for social, economic and political. Do not expect answers fall from above, but are
questioning the way we produce and build networks of solidarity which to resume our lives
under control. ---- In June 2012, the self was at the heart of a popular festive event,
the Fair self. Sixty cooperative structures, policies, unions and associations attended,
attracting 1300 visitors to Paris and Montreuil. ---- And if this year is expanding in all
directions? We offer self-management of all Hexagone - especially local groups structures
adhering to the Fair - rely on the Fair in 2013 to help revive this great idea in the
public debate.
This may consist of a conference, a screening debate or any local event that emphasizes
self. The website www.foire-autogestion.org inform all initiatives that want to enroll in
this context.
For its second edition, the Fair self on 8 and 9 June return to the issues of recovery in
the hands of the production, but also on the self-organization of the struggle and the
role of self-management unions. At the same time, it will seek to make more room for
feminist themes and habitat. Around major discussion forums, we aim more practical
workshops, and technical manuals, as self Fair should not be a place of talking shop! More
culture and relaxation as well, with a more festive. And like last year, stands, space
radio, video projection cycle, a concert, a library, a children's area ...
This will depend on the involvement of activists and organizations for self-management,
like last year, the event will be based exclusively on voluntary and self-financing. We
therefore call on the good will. The self will or will not be happy!
