So there was this not too terribly bright teacher in Paterson NJ, who went on her facebook page and ranted about the state of her classroom. I say not too bright, because everyone knows to keep your facebook page pretty tame and non controversial, no nude shots, no drunk shots . You all know the drill, don't you ? Well some of you do, others of you continue to act the fool and post all manner of damaging stuff which later comes back to bite you in the ass , and thereafter you complain loudly.

She referred to her job as being something like a keeper of future criminals. So she got herself fired and NJ Supreme Court upheld the firing. So much for 1st Amendment rights. Get ready for how they dissemble on other rights in the near future.
Read it for yourself. Another travesty coming out of the NJ Supreme Court. NJ Supreme Court at one time had a reputation for being one of the greatest activist Courts in the nation. It was activist no doubt, but its social engineering has for the most part been a great failure. It assumed its role solely because of the vacuum created by an unbelievably inept legislative body. The NJ Assembly and the NJ Senate is the legislative equivalent of a clown car.
But back to the point. Today, the Paterson Teachers Association went on record that they are scared and fearful of their students. They are saying that the City of Paterson provides no security for them and they have been subjected to attacks by students. They are collectively saying that they are like wardens for future criminals.

So will NJ Supreme Court say that they all ought to be fired for saying what they said, or will the other unfortunate be rehired on a Do Over, Do Over. Paterson is a gritty Northeastern City which has seen much better days. The State pays the freight for a failed school system that the City could nor support left to its own devices. The place is dirty for the most part, although some areas cling to a pride and stubborn refusal to give into the despair of a drug culture. The police cars are falling apart, the town can't afford to buy new trucks to take care of the streets, so the water company gives them their old ones.
Probably neither. But what really needs to happen is that we need to start having a discussion about the state of our inner cities and the absolute chaos that prevails in places like Newark, Camden, Southside Chicago, East St. Louis, LA Central, Detroit. We have a violent subclass of young people who are being lost to gun violence, crime, prison and drug involvement. Yet our community leaders and politicians do not speak to it, nor does the politically correct media address it at all. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson can not say crap even if they had a mouthful. They are Race Leaders and Community Leaders, yet they speak not to the fatherless child, they speak not to the uneducated child, they speak not to the single mother of six children who raises none, passing that duty off to grand mothers and aunts. They speak not to the violent,.
Somebody is starting to speak and that somebody seemingly is a teacher in Paterson NJ. Maybe this will start a dialog. And maybe that dialog will lead to discussion about how people need to start taking care of themselves and start getting on with life and moving away from a system that continues to provide no end to the cycle of poverty . Maybe some will see that having children at age 16 out of wedlock is a ticket to a lifetime of problems for the mother, the child and the absentee sperm donor. NYC has a campaign that centers on these ideas presently, but no one has heard of it, for the focus is on the 40 oz. cola. How politically correct is the media that it ignores societal disintegration right in front of it in the form of unwed parents siring uneducated and permanently underclass children. That campaign has been decried as racist and improper even in a city where 80% of high school graduates can not read. Those children who have children deny themselves and their children anything other than a subsistence level existence , for the most part , for life.
Guess what folks, time to face the facts. We need to push , pull and speak and maybe we will still be able to stop the atrophy that our society seems to be experiencing. It is all about aspiration and how to make that a lifetime endeavor.
