Stacking the Shelves (Feb. 3, 2013)

Tynga of Tynga's Reviews has a meme to spotlight the books we receive each week. Visit her site to check out the linky and see what everyone gets. I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow.

This week I added eleven books to my stack. First my virtual stack; these are the ones that are on my Kindle:
I read about Oxford Whispers by Marion Croslydon on someone's blog and thought this New Adult Paranormal Romance sounded interesting.

I just finished reading The Buckhorn Legacy by Lori Foster and immediately decided that I needed to know the stories of the hero's father and uncles. Once and Again by Lori Foster tells the story of Sawyer and Morgan. It joins Forever Buckhorn: Gabe/Jordan already on my Kindle.
I bought Banshee Charmer and Succubus Lost by Tiffany Allee because I just got another book in the series - Lycan Unleashed - for review. I like having all the books in a series.
I have recently become a Jennifer L. Armentrout fan. When I learned that she had written steamy romance under the name of J. Lynn, I decided I wanted to give them a try. I got Tempting the Player and Tempting the Best Man.  In the interest of keeping this blog family-friendly, I chose a cover picture from an earlier release of Tempting the Best Man. The new one is pretty steamy.

The last Kindle book I got this week was an Amazon Deal of the Day. A Place to Rest My Heart by Galen Rose sounded like a nice contemporary romance.

Here are the books I added to my actual shelves this week:
I am a long-time Atlanta Braves baseball fan and loved watching John Smoltz pitch. When I found out he had written a book—Starting and Closing, I decided I wanted to read it. Since I read very little nonfiction, I was waiting for an Amazon Marketplace deal. The price finally reached what I wanted to pay.

Die for Me by Cynthia Eden is a review book that I got from Amazon Vine. This romantic suspense title will be released on Feb. 12.
I got The Eldritch Conspiracy by Cat Adams even though I still have the previous book in the series on my TBR stack. I do like this series. I just need to find time to read it.

Finally, I got a copy of Home from the Sea by Mercedes Lackey. This is another case of waiting for my price in Amazon Marketplace. I like Lackey and want to read this but I don't need to read her Elemental Masters series as soon as they come out.

What did you add to your stack this week?
