chocolate eyes

I love chocolate. I love cats. Now, when you mix these two together, let's say a cat with chocolate eyes, I fall over dead.

The long-haired black beauty stared at me as I entered the home. I took one look at his eyes and stopped in my tracks. His eyes were solid chocolate brown in colour. So, he has this amazing black coat and black face and then these two huge, dark brown, almost black eyes. Everything about him is dark. I have never in my many years of caring for cats come across one with this colour of eyes.  I will try to capture this for you but so far he is one that likes to twirl around as soon as the camera comes out. Plus, I do get sort of lost in those eyes when I look too close.

This photo is of 'chocolate eyes' and his beautiful calico friend.
He is looking right at me. As you can see, his eyes blend into his face.

I do believe there are many seat-sales for tropical islands right now as the phone is ringing every day for cat-care. It's so exciting when I know I will be adding new cats to my weekly calendar. It's a wonderful time to meet new clients and pamper them the Just Cats way. Lots more to love this Valentine's Day.

The retired-guy made pancakes for breakfast this morning. Buckwheat Pancakes. Recipe coming.

I have picked up the knitting needles again. I'm not expecting much as it's been 30 years since I knit for my first child. I think to start, I'll make something flattering for Audrey. Perhaps a hat; a yellow hat, to match her eyes.

Have a great day.
