US, Rochester Red and Black - Take Back the Land ? Housing Liberation

As part of our housing campaign, we work directly with, and in support of, the Take Back 
the Land Rochester movement. Using direct action, Take Back the Land both supports people 
defending their homes against unjust foreclosures and evictions as well as supports the 
liberation of empty, bank-owned homes so that homeless families can live there. Here is a 
story of of one liberation supported by Take Back the Land Rochester, and it can serve as 
a model for continued housing liberations throughout our city.
