Tampa Radio Trial: Schnitt Attorney Arrested

UPDATE 1PM: Today's testimony in the Todd "MJ" Schnitt civil suit was delayed a day after his attorney was arrested late Wednesday and charged with driving under the influence.

An attorney representing radio personality Todd “MJ” Schnitt this month in a high-profile civil trial was arrested and charged with driving under the influence Wednesday night, according to the Hillsborough County Jail website.

According to a story at tbo.com, Charles Phillip Campbell Jr. was arrested at 10:08 p.m. at Cass and Tampa streets, not far from the downtown Tampacourthouse where the trial is taking place.

Campbell, 64, of 3304 Palmira Ave., was released from the jail at 6:18 a.m. today after posting bond of $500. He refused to take a test for blood alcohol count, according to the jail website.

The trial was scheduled to resume about 9 a.m. today.
