The reactions to Chuck Hagel's nomination to be Secretary of Defense of the United States has been fast and furious. And one of them - Ed Koch's - has caused me to lose all respect for someone who was a contemporary of my late parents. But more on that below.
NBC's Chuck Todd reported on Monday morning that as many as 10 Democratic Senators may vote against Hagel.
