Foxman giving up on stopping Hagel?

An op-ed by Anti-Defamation League chief Abe Foxman in Wednesday's Haaretz makes it sound like he's given up on stopping the Hagel nomination.

Considering precedent, whereby very few nominated cabinet members who
were formerly members of the Senate had been rejected by that body,
