Supporting her cause.

Our little tree is here....yippee!
Even rain didn't stop us.
I see many days of decorating & tweaking ahead.
We had a really nice time at my daughter, Jess & Mike's home to celebrate three birthdays.
It is hard to get everyone together with such busy lives so we took the opportunity to get another family photo that includes our new grandson, Bradley.  Even little Ruby got in on this one.

The retired-guy, moi, Jess, Ruby-doo, John, Brit, Bradley, Mike, Riley, Allie & Jon.
I ask you..."How does this happen so fast?"
"In the blink of an eye."

Some cuteness.

Jess & her Ruby

I made a banana cake (requested) with whipped vanilla icing loaded with fresh strawberries.
There was enough food for an army.

After returning home I was off to care for 5 kitties in my care.
Emma is diabetic and needs 2 insulin shots daily.
She is so sweet and purrs the whole time I care for her.

You know what else is wonderful about cat-sitting?
Cat-sitting at Christmas.
I get to not only love up the cats but take in all the beauty of everyone's Christmas trees.

I'm not the only one with a table tree.
I think they are beginning to be quite popular.
Can't wait to show you ours while it is still up-right.

Have you met Joan from http://godslittlepeople.blogspot.ca/? Please drop by and say hello. She is a wonderful advocate for the homeless cats of Greece and has some beautiful cards for sale to help her cause. I have followed along with Joan's work for over a year now and she never fails to touch my heart with her stories. She is a wonderful woman and I keep her in my prayers as she struggles to reach the most needy of cats.

hugs, Deb
