Extending Your Reach Using Social Media

Our annual conference's theme is "Extending Your Reach." In addition to the many ways that we can positively impact the students, parents, teachers, and community members in our lives, we can extend our professional reach through the use of social media. Join fellow NBCTs, Cara Whitehead and Farrah  Kilgo who will share their expertise and strategies for learning, leading, and collaborating with others through social media.

Two avid social media users and NBCTs will share various ideas on how educators can use social media to extend his/her professional reach. You will explore how to share ideas, collaborate with others, contribute thoughts, and enhance your curriculum through sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Edmodo, and blogging.
