Dear friends,
as you might have learned from previous mails, refugees in
choucha-camp/tunisia will start a protest in january, aiming at
scandalising their bad situation and urging the responsible UNHCR to
listen to their demands.
Firstly, it would be great, if you could initiate solidarity-actions in
your towns. It could be anything like rallies, demonstrations or
information events - everything that could raise the attention to the
protest is welcome! For further information and to get in contact
with referees feel free to contact this email adress.
Furthermore the protesting refugees are dependend on funding to be able
to leave the camp, to network with supporters and for publicity work,
which would make the protest heard in a broader public. Your donations
are very welcome to make the protest possible and to make it public.

Liebe Freundinnen und Freunde,
wie ihr wahrscheinlich schon aus einer der letzten Mails erfahren habt,
werden Flüchtlinge in Choucha-Camp/Tunesien ab Januar einen Protest
starten, um ihre durch den UNHCR verursachte Perspektivlosigkeit zu
skandalisieren.
Erstmal wäre es super, wenn ihr in den nächsten Wochen
Solidaritätsveranstaltungen in euren Städten organisiseren würdet. Das
kann von Kundgebungen und Demos über Informationsveranstaltungen alles
sein, was euch in den Sinn kommt und auch hier den Protest in die Medien
bringen könnte. Kontakt zu ReferentInnen und weitere Informationen könnt
Ihr gerne über choucha@riseup.net erfragen.
Außerdem brauchen die Flüchtlinge Geld, um das Flüchtlingslager zu
verlassen, sich mit weiteren Organisationen zu vernetzen und
Informationen über ihren Protest an die Öffentlichkeit zu bringen. Eure
Spenden sind gefragt, um den Protest zu realisieren und ihm
größtmögliche Öffentlichkeit zukommen zu lassen!
