A person's tendency to irrational hate is, I suspect, more or less inversely related to their power.

Those without money, social position, authority, good looks, or achievements of any significance, are, on this view, the most likely to engage in bullying, lynching, and cheering on brutal fascist leaders.

Hence the lynch mobs of the US Deep South, where the white "trash" were inclined to take it out on niggers, the only people more powerless than themselves. 

Hence, today, the demonization and casual slaughter of dusky Muslim "terrorists", which serves to keep the masses in line with the forces of imperialism.

According to neurologists the child with the shrunken brain was the victim of severe neglect and abuse. 

The child on the left is more likely to develop the social ability to empathise with others. 

The child with the shrunken brain will be more likely to become addicted to drugs and involved in violent crimes, much more likely to be unemployed and to be dependent on state benefits.

The child is also more likely to develop mental and other serious health problems.

Professor Allan Schore,says that if a baby is not treated properly in the first two years of life, the genes for several aspects of brain function, including intelligence, cannot function. 

There is a chance they may never develop and come into existence.

I think Aangirfan believes in a world where people accept each other as they are; no cheating, no lying, no judgement, no hate.

A world in which there is 'enough' for all: dignity, respect, compassion, care, understanding and forgiveness.

That is the world I believe in, as did Christ.

Something wrong with such a vision?

Good article.

I liked that Canspec comment a lot too.

The specific one two punch it reminded me of was how the British crown destroyed Ireland during the 'Potato famine'.

For the next 50 -100 years the fractured confused 'dumb' survivors of the Irish holocaust were used as blunt instruments against American indigenous people and at times against the blacks of the USA.

Playing poor against dirt poor and vise versa is a dirty game, and one that our rulers have perfected.
Colors and religions mean nothing to our rulers, but to the little people they matter, so they are used to divide us.
 
Answering it all with love and respect is the way to go.
