When I called the North Wales Police press office earlier to ask for a comment, they said they didn't know who Steve Messham was.

The Firm @TheFirmOnlineEssential to remember Messham didn't pluck the name out the air. He says police ID'd McAlpine for him.
Tom Delargy @derekrootboyVery important point. Why would the police give him that name? More to this than meets the eye?

Child abuse is a national plague
By Sir Mat Hastings
From The Slog:
"David Cameron asks us to go to the police, who have - in 4 out of the 5 coverups - either actively or passively conspired to derail enquiries….

"* The enquiry was satisfied that external paedophiles had also been involved, and had access to the premises, and also that boys had been transported to ‘a large house near Chester’...."

The nation is convulsed about pedophiles.
David Cameron is resisting calls for an overarching inquiry, looking into the role of the security services in blackmailing child rapists at Kincora, Bryn Estyn and other children's homes.
One might propose an international commission to investigate how the 'powers-that-be' have been involved in child abuse rings in the USA, Belgium, Canada and elsewhere.
Some nations gaze in the amazement at the spectacle of Britain's top politicians and policemen covering up child torture and murder.
Whatever happened in north Wales care homes 40 years ago must be exposed.
Child abuse is a reality, and an exceptionally unpleasant one.

Anonymous left this comment on the post "SAVILE; ELITE CHILD ABUSE":
I have started making comments again, after a bit of a dry period, but I was puzzled by the admission by a "victim" of Lord McAlpine that he had mistaken his abuser's identity.
After all these years? (At least 15.).
If his abuser was a relative of Lord McAlpine's (hence the confusion and mistake) should we not be told who this person is, so that they may be brought to justice?
This case has similarities with the Larry King case in America.
There, for those who are not familiar with the matter, a well-known Republican party fund-raiser was alleged to have been a major organizer of a paedophile ring, providing young people, mainly boys, to V. I. P.'s and members of the U. S. government, the ramifications extending as far as the White House, where groups of young boys had been taken on tours in the early hours of the morning, with no apparent problems with any security.
As soon as this started to be known in the media, investigations seem to have got no further, but King himself was put on trial, not for child abuse, but for fraud (a situation I feel that is similar to the conviction of Al Capone for tax offences, rather than being a gangster!).
It appears that this sudden question of mistaken identity has only appeared as a result of pressure having been put upon the witness (Steve Meessham). The judge who held the original investigation into the child abuse allegations against the North Wales children's home made a ruling that although 4 prominent political figures were named during the process, no mention was to be made of their names outside the court, subject to contempt of court proceedings.
This was done allegedly to "protect the victims". Surely, it would be much better protection for the victims and any future victims for these 4 people to have been named.
The government must have the right to over-rule this judge's decision. If the names were to be released, it would prove, 1 way or the other, whether or not the real Lord McAlpine was involved.
I am certain that he would welcome such a revelation, unless, of course, he actually was involved!
