Due to a summer drought, folks around here had just about given up on having any real color this fall. A good rain this week helped. Yesterday I was amazed at how the leaves had changed, almost over night. This was shot about this time last year. My friend lives just past the red tree and I sent her a copy the other day. I'm glad I captured it as this year... not so much.
