Banned for Life

So, last month a group of us did one of those epic (at my age more than a few blocks is epic) bike rides.

We had a great time.  It was on the C&O Canal Towpath, very scenic, very flat, very rough . It was such a good time we plan on returning again next year.

So to that end, we have been looking on You Tube for videos posted there dealing with bike rides.  And wouldn't you know it there is a guy who has a whole collection of videos of bike rides he has taken.  He has taken a lot of them, I mean like a real lot.  And he gives it his own traveloge treatment, he interviews people  and he gives historical tidbits and he apprently features himself as some sort of serious filmaker, judging from his inability to take a constructive criticism.

The videos are not too awfully bad , except in some of them, he insist on riding along with the camera in his outstreched right arm , so all you really are getting is a shot of the right side of his face and right ear as he talks about the trip.  Then all of a sudden he will stop and the camera will swing about in that rolling wild motion that marks all amatuer videos.

The rapid and unfocused camera panning results immediately in mal de mare and a visit to the waste paper basket.

I made the mistake of placing a comment on one of his videos that he should edit that type of thing out.  My reward---Banned for Life.

Oh, well now I just tell people to visit , and see for themselves:   threewheeljourney.blogspot.com/
