As goes Dixville Notch?

I started thinking about Dixville Notch, New Hampshire late last night and this morning.

As a kid growing up in Boston, we would always here about Dixville Notch's 'first in the nation' voting (they were the only ones back then). They always voted Democrat - or so it seemed.

The residents of Dixville Notch voted about an hour and a half before I started this post and the results may surprise
