On Friday, October 5, 2012, about 25 people gathered in the city of Bogota, in a day of
solidarity and protest, from 12 noon until 2:30 pm, in front of the street squatted 47
with Carrera 7 in order to support the twenty people in a group of 5 families displaced
from Sunday September 30 have occupied this building abandoned for a decade while
denouncing the appalling housing situation in Colombia. ---- On Friday, October 5, 2012,

held in an atmosphere of joy and fellowship, bringing together the families of squatters
with dozens of students, youth, teachers, workers and participants who made this
solidarity rally organized by the Anarchist Group Fork (Anarchist Black Cross) and
Libertarian Group Via Libre, who also joined the Collective Alternative Education, the
newspaper at the bottom and the Anarchist Student Group.
Waving placards under slogans like "The roof is a right" and "housing", displaying posters
against property speculation, in favor of the struggle for a decent roof, in defense of
squatting and denouncing unjust situation of thousands of homes without people, and
thousands of people homeless, chanting slogans like "What? What? Displaced homeless? ","

not a fact, squatting is a right ", and distributed to hundreds of flyers , the protesters
informed the neighbors and passersby on the situation, arousing the sympathy of passersby

The day ended successfully, having collected several kilos of food, blankets, diapers and
