What did Barak tell the Godfather to tell Barack?

In Chicago this past week, Defense Minister Ehud Barak met with Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. But why? The Chicago Sun Times has some speculation (Hat Tip: Jack W).

The Barak/Emanuel meeting made news in Israel.

Haaretz reported, “At their meeting, Barak told
Emanuel that Netanyahu is unapologetic for his stance on Iran, but that
he has absolutely no intention to support one presidential
