Tea-cup Tuesday & counting the days

Fall is in the air and our cravings are leaning more toward the comfort foods. That means more walks for me.

One of my kitty client's owner's was so sweet to give me a piece of brown transfer-ware that she no longer wanted. It is very old and beautiful.
This has been well-used. I can imagine all the home-cooked meals served on it.
I liked it with my orange tea-cup and saucer.
Yes, I have a wooden cat, too. This one doesn't break anything.
I love the colour.

This plate is J. Broadhurst Ironstone. Made in Staffordshire, England and named
'The Constable Series'
So now I have two brown transfer-ware plates. It's a start.

This little tea-cup doesn't have a name.

This little lady is about to become a big sister.

Her baby brother (my first grand-son) is due this week.
Are we excited?
We are counting the days.
1...2...3 more.
