Roman villa found in Savona
Archaeologists digging in the Ligurian coastal city of Savona in northwest Italy have discovered a Roman villa containing mosaic floors and clay and ceramic objects, brooches and coins, the local archaeological superintendent's office said on Thursday.
"It is an exceptional find of great historic and archaeological value," the sources said.
