Colombia, Constitutive Declaration of the Anarchist Students Group GEA (ca)

After the last wave of student mobilization in the second semester of last year shook the
country, and after more than four months of grassroots activism, discussions and
programmatic approaches, a group of students from public and private universities in the
cities of Bogota and Facatativ? have been the Anarchist Student GEA Group, a new student
organization libertarian and revolutionary class, which aims to combat the current model
of banking education and authoritarian and contribute to building a libertarian and
popular education. Conscious of the need to organize to fight, these are the basic
guidelines of our bid: ---- 1. The GEA is a broad social and political grouping of
anarchist character, open to all students of non-formal education, secondary, technical,
technological and university share their proposal and program.

Taking as a fundamental base work with students walk, proposes to fund the construction of
a revolutionary-minded social anarchism, libertarian student organization that energizes
powerful educational struggle, a united student movement, fighting and raised on the
direct democracy and a working class and a strong people.

2. We define ourselves by the following political principles: a) The Libertarian Communism
as strategic horizon, and the fight against the principle of authority, the State and
Capitalism b) The class struggle, c) organized direct action, d) The student unit with the
workers and the people, f) Internationalism and anti imperialism, g) Feminism popular and
defense of sexual diversity. h) The multiculturalism and anti-racism i) social
environmentalism.

In the same vein, the organizing principles around which we structure we are: a) The
asamblearismo Federalism and horizontal, b) Self-criticism and devoted commitment, c)
autonomy and self-management, d) Collective action based on agreements political and
tactical, e) memory, research and comprehensive training, f) Solidarity and mutual
support, g) and libertarian ethics.

3. We activate social fields in three different but complementary: The first student
itself, the second that of education and pedagogy, and the third social field struggles
and social movements in general. That for which we fight today morning wanting to move
towards a libertarian, that is our platform of demands, is summarized as follows:

Student: For the freedom of thought, the defense of life, ethnic, sexual and cultural
well-being by, egalitarian and controlled by girls and women, by material conditions for
research, teaching, access and remain in formal education, for differential rate in urban
and regional transport, by linking educational practice with the realities and needs of
the oppressed, for union with the struggles of other social sectors, and direct control
students and workers of the educational process.

Education: For a real and effective triestamentalidad for the full rights of teachers and
education sector workers, respect union rights and their direct and decisive participation
in institutional decisions, for the welfare of the school community full and free access
and universal to all educational institutions, for a decent education, free public service
of the workers, linking scientific knowledge and ancestral integrates theoretical and

the processes of popular education and liberation, against the culture of schooling and

Social: For conscientious objection, the abolition of military service and repressive
forces of the state, for the ethnic and cultural diversity, racism and xenophobia against
machismo and sexism, for sexual and reproductive self-determination, the full social
equality and liberation of women, for the full recognition of LGBTI rights and against
homophobia, against free trade, privatization and neoliberalism, social services, public
and universal under workers control, labor exploitation, by improving the living

4. We recognize ourselves as continuing the anarchist and syndicalist movement powerful
that existed in Colombia in the 20s of last century, which was raised by that time, the
importance of workers enter the unit, the students and the people. It also inherited the
legacy of student activism Base Workers libertarian who developed in the 70s, The Heretics
Utopian and Student Action Group in the 80s, AK Kombate anarchists and Cultural Project

broader social struggles. We resume this rich history lessons and experiences to think and
act better about our own present and build for the future a draft solid libertarian
organization among students.

5. We consider sisters struggle to varied experiences and libertarian student
organizations in Latin America and the world, given the fight a liberating education and
dignity for the people. We intend to move forward, to the measure of our strength, to
building an international current of libertarian students, that in connection with all the
struggles of the oppressed, will become increasingly strong and unified.
