Three people were injured by gunfire during a fight in the central bus
station on Solomon Street in Tel Aviv late Saturday night.

According to initial reports, one person was shot in the chest and another
on his hand. Police reported that the people involved appear to be African
migrants.

A spokesperson from MDA commented that two of those injured are in
critical conditions, while the third is lightly injured. MDA were called
to the scene, and evacuated the injured to Sheba Medical Center in Tel
Hashomer.

The background to the incident is currently unclear. Police are currently
investigating the incident.

Last month, a Tel Aviv man stabbed three Eritrean migrants at an Internet
café in south Tel Aviv’s Shapira neighborhood, leaving two patrons lightly
wounded.

Police arrested a suspect shortly after the stabbing, who they described
as a 38-year-old “mentally disturbed” Tel Aviv resident.

In mid-July a man opened fire on a group of Eritrean men sleeping in a
doorway on Hahmei Yisrael street in south Tel Aviv, lightly wounding one
man.
