The news about the prestigious exhibition in the Mecca of arts transpired during the roundtable of the Bulgarian thracologists in Kazanlak marking the start of the traditional festivities in the Valley of the Thracian Kings.
In a special letter to Bulgaria’s Culture Minister Vezhdi Rashidov, the Louvre's Director Henri Loyarette confirmed the commitment of the legendary museum to stage the exhibition adding that the preparations for it are at an advanced stage.
The Thracian treasures – 145 pieces – will be on display in the famous "Salle des Sept Cheminees."
