I love actress Sian Reeves, well I mean I don't love her, but you know, I like what she does. And now she's said she wouldn't mind appearing in Coronation Street. Oh. Yes. Please.
Sian said: "I would love to do Corrie. EastEnders would be good as well because it's near home - although soon Bessie's going to be off getting drunk at Leeds or Manchester University so maybe I can go and join her.
"You do work much harder in a soap, because the episode turnover is just horrific, but I'd never say no because something interesting might come up. It's not suitable for every actor, soap stuff - you have to have a certain sort of memory for the quick intake of lines, and I don't know how some of them do it. But then lovely Nigel Havers (who plays Lewis Archer), he absolutely adores Corrie, because he loves doing things that quickly."
Sian played the part of Sally Spode in Emmerdale but I remember her best for her wonderful role as Sydney Henshall in the BBC drama Cutting It.
