After the pre-wedding photos were taken (I'll wait for the professional ones to post) Jess & Mike's wedding ceremony was held at Cape Spear in St. John's, Newfoundland. Cape Spear is the most easterly point of land in Canada. The oldest surviving lighthouse is situated at this point.
We ditched our heels and grabbed our sandals.
It looked like it might rain so no time was wasted.
I didn't take photos of The Vows. The dark clouds started to roll in.
Signing the book
The happy couple
(the rain held off and it turned out perfect)
We even stayed awhile longer
I was the photographer here. I was pleased with these photos but I can't wait to see the professional ones coming soon. I know
Jess and Mike were very happy with their day. She wanted it simple, intimate with no fuss. She knew exactly where she wanted to exchange her vows. Then we headed to
Portobello's for a lovely dinner and then to the famous
George Street to party. I can't exaggerate how wonderful
the people of Newfoundland are. Oh my God, I just love them. Congratulations and drinks were flowing and everyone felt so welcomed. It's a fabulous place to visit. "Make plans, everyone."
