Celebrity Big Brother is now in full swing, and Corrie veteran Julie Goodyear appears to be coping well – although it may be a different story after last night’s live nominations.What have we learnt since the last post? Well Julie speaks Russian in her sleep, at least according to comic Julian Clary; shouting the Soviet equivalent to ‘Last Orders, cock’ one would imagine! Sadly, her first husband left her when their son was just weeks old, and she shared this story with housemates in the garden. She spoke of the strong bond she now has with her son having brought him up as a single mother. And we found out, rather bizarrely, she married what Big Brother described as her ‘biggest fan’, but what Julie herself described as her ‘stalker’. Yikes!
Live nominations took place too last night, and to make matters worse they were face-to-face in the living area! Julie did appear to struggle quite a bit with this, saying she couldn’t do it, but eventually plumping for ex-Loose Woman Coleen Nolan, who did look a little peeved with Julie. Julie herself received no nominations, and won’t be the first to be unceremoniously booted from the house – hurrah!
