Ostroumov, Vorozhun.  in: Doklady Biological Science.

This is the first paper that reports the finding: when a synthetic surfactant pollute the aquatic medium with planktonic filter-feeders (crustaceans), the filter-feeders decrease their filtration rate. Previously, this effect was found only for benthic filter-feeders (by the same author, Dr. S.Ostroumov).
