This is a very easy walk that I usually save for when my kids want to ride a bike or a scooter, since it is paved and flat. It starts at the sculpture called "Storm in a teacup". I keep it fairly short, but you can walk to the Spanish boarder and beyond, thus making the walk longer. There are other more difficult walks that start from the same spot. Coll de la Botella is a section of the Pal ski area, and you can see the slopes from the road. The paved part of the road ends at the Spanish boarder, but those with 4x4 cars or dirt bikes often ride down the Spanish side. Most of the views are towards the ski area. The valley just to the right of the slopes leads to Os de Civis. The road is not accessible in the winter, due to snow.
Looking from the starting point towards the Pal ski station.
We turned around at this little pond. It had a lot of tadpoles in it, but it will be gone by July.

The Spanish boarder is where you see the snow.
The road is virtually flat (unusual for Andorra), so its a nice place for young kids to ride bikes. There isn't much traffic either.
"Storm in a teacup". You have to drive a couple of hundred meters past the "Do not enter" signs. Fear not, in the summer, there will be lots of cars parked near the teacup.
