Vall de Rialp is a pretty easy walk. We have been taking our children there for several years. The incline is steady, and the past is suitable for pretty much anyone. The start of this walk is a parking area in the National Park of Sorteny, which offers several walking options. Where we stopped, the path continues and offers 3 or 4 other possible destinations if you wish to continue. The first part of the path is somewhat wooded, and is popular for picnics. Later, the valley opens up to very nice views. There are wild raspberries and blueberries along the path later in the summer.
A well traveled path just after the picnic tables and BBQ pits.
The path follows alongside the wall for a while, then follows along the edge of the river the rest of the way.
The cattle gate keeps in the cows that graze the valley in the Summer.
This is where the valley opens up.
One of the many springs in Andorra.
The Refugi.
Looking back down the valley from which we came.
