WAILUKU, Hawaii--For the past several years, Washington State University alum Ian Waltz puts on a little discus meet at Wailuku's War Memorial Stadium called the Maui Throwdown where he invites a few of his discus throwing friends to see how their early season training is progressing and to find out how far they can spin the platter.
