White Dog and the rest of the White Dog Army especially do not like Mondays since they are also extra long nights for Steve. The weather was indecisive-- jumping from pleasant and sunny to cloudy and foreboding with only a shift in the wind as warning. Every action irritated some other member of the Army. It was a day that beckoned the White Ones to restlessness...boredom...mood swings.
I tried to discuss this with WD to get a read on the pack and maybe some suggestions for distraction but she mumbled, "Why not just leave us alone and find something to keep yourself busy." OK, then, message received. I tried not to be insulted by the indifferent ones or WD's snappishness. Every pup deserves an off-day, right? But all of them at once...
As I did a bit of business and talked to people across the day (kept myself busy), I got a sense that many seemed to be afflicted with the same ennui affecting the WDA today. I refused to be sucked into the greyness.
Here is an antidote to the Monday moodies that I found. I dare you not to be moved in a positive way just watching this heartwarming video...and hope that the smiles and giggles leave you with a "feel good" shield well into Tuesday.
This family had given up all hope after nearly 2 years of Lily being gone from their lives. Then, miraculously, she was found....the resulting reunion is one you don't want to miss - Lily didn't forget them a bit!
