I haven't been in m any barber shops, because about 1/2 of my adult life was in the military, and those military barber shops were without any adornment of humor, pride, or history. It's the military sterile interior theme on base.
I've never been in a shop that is a straightforward place for guys to hang out til a chair opens, have a beer, read a Playboy, Maxim, etc etc
