So, what does this tell us? Besides that the vikings of the past are metal-heads? I would have guessed that metal would be less popular in the Mideast than in Sub-Saharan Africa. I also would have guessed more metal bands per capita in the former Soviet space.

Do notice that similarities of metal band density do not appear correlated with peace, unlike the McD's peace. What other social science observations can we glean from this?
