31 years. Together and I mean together. Together when the kids were sick, together when our fathers passed, when my brother passed. Together through job loss, leaky roof, brokendown cars, 4 years of night school. Failed pregnancies, and then together putting kids through school, graduations, proms, births, weddings, joys.Simple trips , vacations, waiting up for the kids to come home.
Nothing fancy and flashy, but soft and durable.
You always added "Please" as in would you vacuum for me please, could you empty the garbage please, there was never a command, a demand and order. It was always with a please. A gentle touch that meant so much. I really think it meant the all as with each please, that became my goal. Please your wife, live your life to please your wife.
Karen---I do love you.
