White Dog and The White Dog Army know that people love
black cars
and foods like black licorice and black russians
They love black comedies.
They even love dressing up for black tie events.
And yet when it comes to pets, black dogs and cats are left behind; adopted only half as often as pets who have other colors. The WDA doesn't get this. Shouldn't it be what's inside that counts? Black pups and kitties are just as loving and giving as the others. They are just as loyal. Black animals are as smart and as trainable...they are as worthy of a forever home and a second chance as any.
