Laura is doing great!

Travelling across the frozen wilderness AMS office staff Laura Wright is 5-days into a two-week journey from Takotna to the Yukon river. Laura and two friends are each skiing behind a sled and two huskies (ski-jouring) along the northern route of the historic Iditarod trail. Laura has been travelling the trail in section, mostly solo, for the last several years now. We have been getting spot locating signals of her location. She is moving well and doing great. The compeitiors of the 2012 Iditarod sled dog race are passing Laura and her team these next few days. The weather has been nice and warm, that means not too windy and hovering somewhere above 0 F.
