Corey Booker

Awhile back I said remember that name. Well, I am betting I am on to something. During his recent visit to the United States, the British Prime Minister paid a visit to Mr. Booker in Newark , NJ. Why would the Prime Minister come to Newark NJ, hardly the garden spot of the universe to visit with a practically unknown and uncelebrated small city mayor. It is because at some point in the next 4 years he is going to be thrust onto the national stage. He is being prepped.

He has remained silent during the hullaballoo over the Tampa shooting of a 17 year old unarmed Black youth. Why---because Newark is home to hundreds of shootings per year, most of which involve Black Youths shooting other Black Youths. So to keep him from stepping into that quagmire, I am sure his handlers are saying---keep out of it.

But rest assured he is coming and he is coming after the Obama adminstration leaves office. He will probably be squared off against that other Jersey Boy, Christie.
