Since I was unable to find the lyrics for Macka B's "Do The Butterfly" online, I transcribed those lyrics for the sake of folkloric and musical documentation.

Notice the question marks in one line of the song. In that line Macka B mentions other Jamaican dance crazes. My unfamiliarity with those dances made it difficult for me to understand what he said. Additions and corrections are encouraged and can be posted as comments to this post.

As an aside, I found this video while I was doing an online search for the "I slide and slide/ and do the butterfly" line that is found in a number of English language children's cheerleader cheers.
