PULLMAN--Washington State's Stephan Scott-Ellis (left/photo courtesy WSU Athletics), a junior from Tacoma, long jumped a lifetime-best distance of 24-feet, 8 ½ inches (7.53m), one of three meet records broken Friday night after day one of the Cougar Indoor Team Scoring meet.
Scott-Ellis, the reigning Pac-10 triple jump champion, eclipsed the previous meet record of 24-3 1/2 (7.40m) set in 2004
