Car Sales Iceland: 2011

First up in this series for 2012 is Iceland, a country of Norse heritage, but proudly independent since 1944. It has a high standard of living, but was hit hard by the economic downturn in 2008. Passenger car sales fell from 17,100 in 2007 to 2,200 in 2009. Up until the 30th Dec 2011, 5,000 passenger cars were sold. Below are sales for the 2011 year by make:
