White Dog sighed, "Do you hear that?" "No, what," replied Steve as she cuddled closer to him. "It is the sound of contentment, peace of mind, and normalness. Today is just like it is supposed to be!" "It has been a bit rough lately," Steve agreed. "This does feel very nice."

Today the White Dog Army celebrated of Friday-which-is-like-Saturday-for-Everyone-Else with a trip to the Park. True to her word, Nuka was feeling back to her normal self. After, we had a car picnic of chicken strips at Sonic.

When we got home, the White Dog Army had to each sniff the pile of mail lying beneath our mail slot (delivered while we were out and about). Each stopped at the same brown envelope and excitedly demanded we open it RIGHT away.

Inside was a delicious surprise from our friend, Casper D Dog! He posted on his blog earlier in the week about his cookie baking experience and the end results LOOKED very yummy! Our thoughtful friend sent us a HUGE bag of his special treats and we can now say without doubt that they TASTE even better than they looked! We are so grateful for this holiday gift, although at the rate we are demanding them, there might not be any left for under the tree. Thanks so much, Casper! You and your mommy ought to consider a cooking show on TV or maybe opening your own canine bakery! You are awesome friends.
