Football Woes

Penn State

Wayne Hills High School

And a little matter of a broken neck.

Can't say anymore about Penn State, except that if you know anything about Pennsylvania you would know that this was probably long overdue. Pennsylvania has nothing really to look to other than Penn State and Penn State Football. Most of the students are from Pennsylvania, not exactly the treasure trove of the academic world. Just look at how they reacted to the breaking story, they were not outraged, sympathetic, concerned at all for the victims. A little introspection would be nice , the only one who counselled introspection was Joe Pa, pray for the victims, I wish I had done more. If only someone had done something would have been a better.

My home town football team a perenial State Champion , had 9 players attack 2 players from the adjacent high school, which is also in my home town. One boy left unconscious in the street. The debate is should these accused play in the State Championship series. Town is torn.

Last weekend a 15 year old had his neck broken in a local game.

The average life expectancy of a former NFL player is 63 years. Everyone else has a life expectancy of 78, but if you are former NFL it is 15 years less.

Football what a religion .
