I'd hate to see her go.
I don't know - Helen's only 21, and has grown up on the Street. Maybe she feels it's time to try something new, and who could blame her? Does she really want to be a Ken Barlow, still treading the cobbles after 50 years? Surely life holds a bit more for her than that.
The panic attacks are distressing but will definitely pass (I have them myself intermittently, as do many, many others - there is lots of help out there, in case anyone is wondering). Helen will be OK. The important thing is, she shouldn't make any decisions about her future until she feels she's got her feet on the ground again.
Anyone else have any views?
