White Dog knows that many of you were celebrating the return of white to your backyards and spent the day frolicking in the snow. We had a different kind of Sunday outdoor fun. It was 70 degrees F, clear azure skies, the gentle warm sun lighting the changing lives so that our world glowed. The White Dog Army additionally had the adventure of exploring a new park, Mariposa Basin, recommended by the wonderful pet supplies store that special orders the Fromm's Liver & Cranberry treats the WDA loves so much.

We had a wonderful time crunching through leaves and running in the grass. White Dog and YoYoMa raced at top speed; WD off-leash taunting her brother to keep up...he gave her a good run even with Steve leashed to him. Puff was so excited that she squirmed out of her summer weight harness and went for a little unsupervised run of her own (note to momma and dad: time for a new harness)! The pond was a landscape feature we do not often encounter and Nuka was THRILLED at the prospect of do-it-yourself duck jerky. After a couple of hours, all the White Ones agreed it was time to find a snack (since they were denied the delicious smelling duck poop) and then home for a nap. Have a safe and happy Halloween!
