White Dog, Quinn, Nuka and YoYoMa are pretty much back on their feet...still a bit snotty but certainly ready to get back into the game. Poor Puff is not happy about the curve that nature has thrown at her and is as listless and clingy as one would expect.

As if to make up for their "down time" over the weekend the White Dog Army (minus one) went through the mailman drill with extra volume and vigor. I bet the postal employee heard the alert well down the street long after our house had been breached. The neighbor behind us who chose today to clean her balcony had the rare opportunity to work while being serenaded by four energetic Eskies singing Wagner.

Every time TOWD came into the house, he did zoomies. Great to see but I had to make sure that YoYoMa was within grabbing distance lest HE think his brother was inviting him to wrestle (not!). And YAWD's charging re-entry meant that his siblings were mowed over and he slammed into furniture thanks to his blind enthusiasm.

Not to be outdone, Nuka decided that today was the day she would master flying. Today she would not patiently wait for me to help her to the floor after cuddling in my arms. No, she insisted on squirming out and then launching herself to the floor (barely missing the coffee table edge and landing in a belly flop every time).

Most of the time, Puff sat tucked behind my feet looking at the WDA as if they had gone mad...or maybe just a wee bit jealous that they felt so good.
