Kevin McCollister and Petrea Burchard admire a piece that they agreed was their favorite

One of the highlights of my trip to Los Angeles last week was the opportunity to join my fellow bloggers at Stephen Cohen Gallery and the see a small but powerful collection of street photographer Vivian Maier's remarkable work. Maier died at the age of 83 a virtual unknown. In 2007, John Maloof bought a storage container almost sight unseen. He then discovered the amazing contents. Maier left over 3,000 prints, 100,000 negatives and approximately 800 rolls of undeveloped film. Since that time, he has worked tirelessly to catalog and exhibit her work. You will want to read more
