White Dog and the others were once again complaining about summer's wrath being expressed as sweltering temperatures. "Come on," I said, hoping to cheer them, "let's go see what is happening on our friends' blogs!" Everyone came and sat around the computer desk because it is always fun to see what is posted...but also because a cooling duct vents right above the workstation making it one of the coolest spots in the house to sit.
We were just getting started when we opened Five Sibes blog and saw it! Christmas is exactly 152 days away! The images brought back memories of a cooler season, with snow to play in and excitement in the air.
"What a GREAT idea!" White Dog exclaimed. Let's start a campaign to get everyone to post a Christmas picture this week in an effort to end the heat wave that has us all in a chokehold!"
So please, help reverse this summer's torrid rampage. This community is VERY powerful and if we all work together anything can happen. Post a photo of Christmas this week and think sleigh bells and snowmen and caroling and eggnog. We can make it happen, ya-ah!
