2002 Edition

I am in the midst of a re-read of all of the Liaden Universe books by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller. I am trying to read them in order of the internal chronology of the series and I have come to Agent of Change. This is actually the first book that was written in the Liaden Universe. It was originally written in 1988. It is a science fiction romance that is also filled with adventure and danger.

1988 Edition

This one is actually a deal for the early publications of the Liaden Universe books. You can get a "new" copy from Amazon Marketplace of the 2002 publication of the book for only $11.00. I wouldn't though because you can get a recent printing from Sharon and Steve's current publisher - Baen Books - entitled The Agent Gambit which also includes the continuing adventures of Miri and Val Con in the story Carpe Diem for $9.52.


Of course, you can also check out eBay and get a copy of the 1988 edition for a buy it now price of $14.99 if that sort of thing excites you.


As for me, I have the 1988 version, the 2002 version, the 2000 omnibus Partners in Necessity which includes this story, The Agent Gambit and a copy of the book on my Kindle. This is a series that I re-read frequently. I also want to support the authors and never want to be without a copy of this book.
